RealFlow 2012For many years NextLimit RealFlow 10 is the "out-of-the-box" solution and industry-standard for fluid simulations. Due to its outstanding performance and compatibility with most major 3D platforms such as Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3D Max, Autodesk Softimage, Houdini FX, Maxon Cinema 4D and many more, impressive and very realistic outcomes are quickly made possible.

The simulation capabilities of NextLimit RealFlow 10 extends from "small-scale" simulations with small splashes, turbulent fluids and spaces including interaction between fluid and rigid / soft bodies to large scenarios such as ocean with splashes, foam, white water and fog. Moreover, RealFlow offers the Carnote Body Dynamics Solver, a solid Rigid- and Soft-Body system.

Next Limit RealFlow is used by many well-known studios around the world. Films such as "Battle of LA", "The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo", "The Avengers", "The Pirates", "Skyline", "The Lorax", "Ice Age 4" have benefited from the vast amount of computer generated illusions this program can create.

The newly added Diverse-System, as well as Open VDB-Meshes succeed in speeding up the daily workload by a multiple.

With the growing performance of this application, of course, also the tasks, which a VFX artist or TD is confronted with, are getting more and more demanding.
